The Art of Pureeing


For dinner tonight, I made myself pear, celery and spinach soup and it was delicious. I know it sounds kind of strange but this is what the recipe called for me to have. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but damn, it was amazing! It may not look good at all in this picture but don't judge a book by it's cover, right? Even my roommate Gina thought it tasted good.

Lately, I've been using the blender to puree food in lots of my recipes. I really enjoy it. It completely transforms the food and makes it so you can taste a lot of different ingredients in one single spoonful. I highly recommend experimenting with a blender when you are in the kitchen.
