Wordless Wednesdays

As I was on a walk yesterday afternoon with the little boy Jake that I nanny for every once in a while, we came across an amazing tree with these beautiful pink flowers. Sadly, I know very little about flowers so I'm not sure what these flowers were called. Got any ideas? This photo was taken with my phone so it's not the best quality so hopefully, someone can discern what kind of a flower they are.

This post is for Wordless Wednesdays. I heard about this posting idea from my sister and she learned about it through Alicia at A Beautiful Mess. Her blog is full of beautiful photos so be sure to check it out.

  1. I'm not sure...can't really see, but could it be a Japanese Cherry Blossom tree? http://isisrosemusic.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/japanese_cherry_blossom_wallpapers_vol_121_ez175.jpg

  2. I don't know a thing about flowers either, but I love how children point out things that we would normally overlook.
