So, I haven't been feeling very well this week which means that I haven't been in the mood to blog. Well, honestly, I haven't felt like blogging much in the past two weeks. I don't know why exactly. Is this normal? I have had my blog for about 7 months now. Am I going through a mid- year-blog crisis? Hmm.. Or maybe I just feel like I don't have anything interesting enough to blog about lately? For those of you that have had your blogs for a long time, did you go through a similar period? How long will this last? : (
Refer to the list we put together or do memes...those always help me through a bloggers block. You could also have guest posters.., new blogger friends or obe or both of your roommates, a fellow newbie to LA, or a long time resident. Hang in there...this too will pass. Your blog is great and people are reading it. Plus, you don't have to post something every day, just when the mood strikes you.
ReplyDeleteYes! It is totally normal and I go through it as well. It is becoming increasingly harder for me to come up with content since mine is SO focused on a particular topic. I used to blog everyday no problem but lately it has become a chore and I really have to be in the mood. I think its better to take a few days off rather than blog just because you feel obligated and its not a great post. When in doubt, take some pictures and post those. Everyone loves to look at pictures!
